1878 (April 30): De La Rue Die Proof for 10 s. value in black on glazed white card, with uncleared Corner Letters and Plate Number, there is a white dot after 'T' of POSTAGE, the outer framelines of the design somewhat sharpened more evident on the corner squares, handstamped "Apr. 30, 1878" in black. A rare and very fine Proof Gi J124 = £ 3'500.
