1890/1951: Collection comprising thirteen pages of predominately unused material which in the main has part or large part og. Includes 15 sets, five of which are Specimen, examples are; the Sexagenary 1897 Diamond Jubilee set of eight values with handstamped overprints in black unused fresh colours (Gi 9-16), 1907 chalk-surfaced paper complete set of ten values with a matching Specimen set (Gi 36-45 & 35s-45s). Also a number of select items 1905/11 complete sheet of 60 of the ½ d. dull purple & green chalk-surfaced paper with marginal surround and plate number "1" the third stamp showing variety "Frame of Name Plate broken at right" known as the "Spawen flaw" unused some imperfections and faults but an impressive and fresh rare multiple (Gi 29a), also noted 1938/51 10 s. pale green & dull red on green ordinary paper used (position 17) showing variety "Gash in Chin" rare stamp although has top corner right perf. fault reinforced by a small hinge remnant (Gi 113af). In addition there are two covers one franked with Sexagenary 1897 1 d. dull mauve & rose tied by "A09" Nevis obliterator with 'Nevis' cds alongside scarce usage within the first week of issue (RPSL cert.). A mostly fine assembly Gi = £ 11'330+.
