1932/34: Covers (3) all mailed from Japanese Manchukuo to China during the period of postal embargo (July 1932-Jan 1935) and thus taxed on arrival with 1932 registered cover franked by Japan 4 s. orange pair and single 10 s. blue tied by "Moukden / IJPO" cds's in violet, taxed in Shanghai with Junk 4 c. olive and 10 s blue with Postage Due 4 c. blue; 1932 cover with Japan 1 s. orange and 3 s. red similarly tied, overlapped on arrival by China Junk 4 c. olive with Postage Due ½ c. blue pair on reverse; and 1934 cover with Japan 3 s. red taxed on arrival with 1932 Postage Due 5 c. orange. Scarce trio, especially with combinations of postage and postage due adhesives on arrival.
