"1776, Thirteen States, U.S. Military Stationery Packet", large multicolored Magnus envelope, originally enclosing notepaper, envelopes, military portraits, as well as a pen, holder, and lead pencil, franked on reverse with 3c dull red and 3c rose, each tied by "Washington D.C. / Sep / 24 / 1861" c.d.s., to Yorkville, Kalamazoo County, Michigan, some small repairs and creases, but a rare and striking cover.
