½ Groschen brick red as well as two horizontal pairs and single stamp 2 Groschen blue each with clear DKr. "BARMEN 16.1.72" on folded cover of 3rd weight class in Rayon 1 with red handstamp "PD" and French transit postmark to Paris. The stamps (postage stamps) are fresh colours, very well embossed, usually perforated and in perfect condition except for a horizontal letter fold on the 2 groschen single stamp. Very rare and attractive 10 1⁄2 groschen postage paid for a third weight step letter to France under the old postal treaty with Prussia, valid for only a few months until 14 May 1872. No other letter of the 3rd weight class from this postage period has been registered so far, certificate Dr Zill BPP (2024)
