5 Groschen ochre-brown with horseshoe cancellation "MÜHLHAUSEN i. ELS. ++ 6.JAN.73" on R envelope with trial Registered label "wide red loops" (corner error) with handwritten number and purple "Recomandirt" and red "Recommandé" cancellation to Géradmer, France with arrival postmark. The stamp (postage stamp) with small marginal tear and the envelope with small traces of ageing and the varnish seals have been removed on the reverse, otherwise in good overall condition. Decorative and scarce postage paid, in combination with the Registered label variant and the R cancellations only a few covers are known, certificate Brugger BPP (2008)
