1893 (Oct 27) Henry Charles Joseph Kopsch to Robert Hart Shanghai LPO postal letter card,card uncancelled, bearing on reverse Customs Shanghai cds. (probably originating cds.), along with Peking Customs arrival cds. Card folded at middle and with some toning marks. F-VF. A rare historical item concerning the postal stationery, with contents between the high level officials of Customs.

1893年10月27日海關總稅務司署造冊處稅務司葛顯禮 (Henry Charles Joseph Kopsch) 寄海關總稅務司赫德 (Robert Hart) 的信件，使用了上海工部局書信舘的1分郵資信卡，內文寫道關於赫德在9月24日向他要求帶回一枚帶郵資的明信片，因此他附上這枚信卡，同時又告訴赫德他聽聞的關於明信片郵資調整的消息，另有此枚信卡的印製數量等。信卡應該自上海海關直接寄出，郵資圖並未銷戳，背面蓋有上海海關1893年10月27日日戳，旁蓋北京11月2日海關到達日戳。片中間有一折，另有些黃斑。上中品。這枚信卡內容很可能是關於赫德計劃發行郵資明信片的籌備工作，很有歷史和郵史價值，極堪玩味。
