Pendant - Sam Remo Conference / "Zionist Shekel". [Holland, 1923]. Design: Christiaan (Chris) Johannes van der Hoef. Obverse: relief depicting a meeting between two figures, one representing a Jew from the Second Temple period, and one a worker holding a hammer, on a background of a wheat field. Beneath appear the Hebrew dates 3830-5680, (the year of the destruction of the Second Temple and 1920 - the year of the San Remo Conference). Reverse: the legend "Shekel 5683" and decorations. Diameter: 29 mm. Suspension loop
