A. or perhaps Ahmad M. with damma for vowel [u] above, mount removed, RR. Various experts have viewed this piece and tentatively assigned it to Sudan due to similarities to known pieces published in the Numismatic Circular: July/August 1994 page 260f. This is the first example of this type we have seen and other experts on the subject had yet to encounter the type either.
