This Organization was established in 1925 to create vocational schools devoted to the needs of religiously observant girls in Palestine. Created by Freda Resnikoff, born in Russia in 1880, settled in New York in 1907 and represented in Palestine by Bessie Gotsfeld the Organisation adapted the name AMIT in 1983 and has today 65 schools, youth villages, childcare facitlities and other programs in Israel. The medals vary greatly in design with many of them decorated with small precious stones "RUBIES" and "PERLS", some gold-plated, include Anniversary Medals, Commemorative Medals of the establishments of diverse vocational schools, celebrationg the "Mothers in Israel", "Childrens's Aliyah" and many more.
