Israel and United States, Very Large Lot of Interesting Israel and Judaica. First, is a group of 4 Prisoner of Conscience Star of David Medallions issued by the Union of Councils for Soviet Jews, including gold-color Hillel Butman and Izia Zalmanson with chains in original packaging, and silver-color Boris Penson and Anatoly Altman without chains. Second, are 5 golden Star of David bookmarks issued by the Israel Government Coins and Medals Corporation to commemorate Israe's 50th anniversary (1998). Third is a group of uniface silver and gold-color medals issued by the Israeli Art Issuing House Co., including medals by Janco and Castel. Fourth is a group of Extremely Fine Litzmannstadt Ghetto coins in denominations of 5, 10 and 20 Marks, with a Certificate of Authenticity. Fifth is group of three 1 oz sterling silver medals issued by the Judaic Heritage Society for Golda Meir and 2 for Truman (one gold-plated). Sixth are two 50mm bronze medals by Karen Worth depicting Israel fighting angel, commemorating Israel's 27th anniversary; one is edge marked SALES SAMPLE AMI and the other is uniface with test mark on edge. Seventh is gold-plated 23gm silver proof medal commemorating George Burns's 100th birthday. Eighth is a Dansco Israel Type album containing 1949 25 Mils plus 19 other coins and the Degania 1 Lirot commemorative. Ninth is an album containing nice circulated examples of the 1, 5 & 50 Pound notes and Unc. examples of the 5 & 10 Pound notes plus dozens of later bank notes, up to the 1984 10,000 Sheqalim with Golda Meir. Tenth is a group of Israel silver commemorative coins: 1971 Let My People Go, 10 Lirot graded MS-65 by ANACS; 2000 Love Thy Neighbour as Thyself, 1 & 2 New Sheqalim; 1984 Hanukka, 2 Sheqalim; 1990 Hanukka, 1 & 2 Sheqalim; and 2000 And They Shall Beat Their Swords into Plwshares 1 & 2 New Sheqalim. Eleventh are two identical sets of Israel's Fight for Freedom, containing silver-plated proof quality 36mm medals: David Ben-Gurion, Peace, Herzl, Weizmann, Anne Frank & Jabotinsky in Capitol Plastic holders. Twelfth is a complete set of Israel bimetallic medals commemorating 6 Prime Ministers of Israel in custom olive wood box. Thirteenth is a group of 13 Franklin Mint Hanukkah medals/cards. Fourteenth is an ancient Widow's Mite (c. 100 BCE-60 CE) in an album with the biblical story. And lastly is a miscellaneous group containing a large shekel paperweight, small bronze medals, pins, etc. Great lot for a collector, dealer or ebayer.
