Pre-Long Beach Auction #84

1806 C-4 R1 Large Repunched 6 VF35. Slightly sharper but there are some tiny ticks scattered over the portrait, none notable but too many to ignore, plus a tiny rim nick over the D in UNITED. Glossy medium chocolate brown and olive with steel brown toning on the devices. E-MDS, Manley state 1.0. Repunching is visible at the top and bottom of the Large 6 and the strike is sharper than usually seen on this variety. The reverse is rotated 20 degrees CW.
