British Colonies Aden, CENSURED cover sent from ADEN CAMP on 16/11/1939 to Switzerland where it arrived on 11/12/1939. Franked for 3½An by ½An, 1An and 2An (SG n 16, 18 and 20). AN UNCOMMON CENSURED COVER SENT DURING THE WAR PERIOD.

British Colonies Barbados, Registered cover sent on 19/12/1894 to Chicago USA arrived on 6/1/1895, franked 7½ pence by ½p, 1p and 6p (Michel 43, 44 and 48). VERY NICE.

British Colonies Ceylon, printed matter sent from GALLE on 13/1/1874 to Netherlands by french paquebot arrived on 11/2/1874. Franked 8 cent at pre-UPU rate using pair of 4ct grey p14x14 (Michel 45C) killed by barred oval obliterators in black, red GALLE PAID postmark, red french paquebot mark on 9/2/74 and note handwritten "9". SCARCE RATE.

British Colonies Guiana, Registered cover sent from Georgetown on 17/6/1891 to London arrived on 1/7/1891. Franked 24ct with three copies of "8 CENTS INLAND REVENUE" overprinted stamps in black (Mich. N 70 x3) NICE.

British Colonies Mauritius, folded letter with flap missing sent from MAURITIUS on 6/3/1867 to France by french paquebot, arrived on 12/4/1867. Franked 8 pence at pre-UPU rate using pair of 4p pink (Michel 17) killed by barred oval obliterators "B53" in black together red french paquebot mark on 11/4/67. SCARCE RATE.

China, mixed Registered franking envelope sent from SHANGHAI on 5/9/1898 to Waremme Belgium paying 22ct by 4ct light-brown, 5ct red and 10ct green of first 1897 IMPERIAL CHINESE POST issue stamps together with single and pair of 1ct ocher 1898 issue stamps (Michel n 38, 39, 40 and 48) respectively canceled in black with the six bars, with "R" for registered mail and with the bilingual dc "SHANGHAI 5 SET 98". The day after was exchanged to the Russian Postal Service that provide to cancel the pair of 2kp green stamp overprinted "КИТАЙ" (Michel n 2x) by the circular "ШАНХАИ ПОЧТОВАЯ КОНТОРА" (Shanghai Postal Office) on 14/10/1903. Indistinct transit postmark applied front and back on 24/10/1903...
