1901: Oval datestamp "MAYMYO/11 AP 01/UNPAID" in DEEP PURPLE on insuff. franked cover from England to SHWEBO, re-directed to Maymyo, franked with GB 1d. tied with Bewdley "68" duplex, hexagonal "T/10" tax h/s, circled "OVERLAND.POSTAGE/DUE/A/2" h/s and green oval "MANDALAY/10 AP 01/UNPAID" on front, black oval "SHWEBO/6 AP 01/UNPAID" along with 7 cds's (Sea P.O., Shwebo, Mandalay and Maymyo) on reverse. Env, somewhat creased and toned, but an interesting cover with the scarce 'Maymo Unpaid' h/s in deep purple. Catalog Price 150,00
