1901 March 4, registered PPC (Hobart from the Bay) variously redirected to Oxford and endorsed 'via Vancouver' multi franked with Tasmania 1899-1900 1d cancelled by 'Hobart/Tasmania' c.d.s, Western Australia 1898-1907 2d vertical pair tied by two oval 'R' hand stamp with oval 'Registered/13 Mar,1901/Perth,WA' date stamp alongside Victoria 1901 4d re-issue without 'Postage' inscription cancelled by 'Avoca/Mr 29,01/Victoria' c.d.s with additional strike dated March 19 alongside and Queensland 1897-1908 2d and 3d and 1899-1906 ½d tied by a single 'Registered/Ap.22.01/Rockhampton' c.d.s, appropriately back stamped with eight transit date stamps and front additionally with oval 'Registered/31.My.01/London' arrival date stamp, minor imperfections incl. corner crease but most unusual & attractive franking.
