1849 (May 10): Prepaid cover from Sydney to Greystones Prospect, struck with superb octagonal framed "PAID / AT / SYDNEY" in red with manuscript '2d.' altered to '4d.' in red ink for the Western Road coach; reverse with circular "GENERAL POST OFFICE / ♚ / SYDNEY" despatch datestamp in black (May 10) and poor oval "PARAMATTA / ♚ / NEW S. WALES" arrival.
