Corinphila Auction 291-297 Day 2

1865/67: 2 d. blue postal stationery envelope fronts (3) all used from London to Prescot with 2 d. blue cut-outs, each with beautiful comic illustrations in colour, including one of a dancer and another with address inscribed on Sandwich board advertiser, a delightful and scarce trio all drawn by Henry 'Harry' Culshaw - see "British Pictorial Envelopes of the 19th Century" by Jarvis, Bodily & Hahn page 285 for further examples by the same artist.
