Vera Cruz 1861: 1 r. black on green, a rare block of four, used out of District on 1861 entire letter to Puebla tied by two strikes of circular "FRANQUEADO / JALAPA" datestamps (Oct 17) in black (Schatzkes fig. 596). Light crease at top with third stamp in block showing District overprint doubled. Blocks of four of the classic issues of Mexico on letter are of extreme rarity.
