Oct.): 1/2d on 3 Pf. bown overprinted TOGO ANGLO - FRENCH OCCUPATION, setting 16mm wide, spacing 3mm wide, additional overprint Half Penny horizontal pair and 1 d on 5 Pf. green also horizontal pair as correct 3d franking for a registered letter to England with Plymouth registered transit (9. Nov) The franking displays slight patina nonetheless this is a rare cover. In addition a second cover also franked 3d made up of 25 Pf and 30 Pf with same overprint, this one very fresh. Both covers show consecutive registration labels. Attractive ensemble.
