Overprinted on Transvaal in Pretoria 1889/90: Transvaal ½ d. grey, perf. 12½, overprinted in black (3 examples), used with 1892 ½ d. grey, overprinted in carmine - two single examples and a strip of three, on 1894 correctly rated cover to Bordeaux, France, tied by "Bremersdorp" squared circle datestamps (March 12). Reverse with Johannesburg transit (March 15), London (April 10) and Bordeaux arrival (April 11). Edge wear to envelope but rare. Cert. BPA (1974).
