Auction 333-341 Europe & Overseas Americas (North, Central & South America) - Day 1

1860: Second Issue, group of twenty-one 10 c. yellow buff, which includes an example from Stone A used on piece in combination with 5 c. grey-lilac tied by the "LA PLATA / FRANCA" framed oval in blue (Bortfeldt certificate); reportedly the only example on piece of this postmark; also thirteen unused examples which contains a rare 'Mirror image' variety (Bortfeldt certificate 2008) on an unused single and a '20' instead of '10' error and seven used examples with varied cancellations, all with four margins and apart from the odd flaw or minor fault are in fine to very fine condition, nicely mounted and written-up on album pages, a scarce selection Scott = $1'555++ not counting the varieties or the premium for the combination piece.  Ex the Brian Moorhouse Estate.
