1852/1855c: Four covers and one document, compirsing three stampless covers sent from Alajuela, two addressed to San Josè, one to Punta, each with framed "ALAJUELA" handstamp in black (Harris fig. 3), strikes and condition very fine to superb, a rare trio; additionally a stampless cover with very fine strikes of octagonal framed "ADMON. / DE / TABACOS" and "S. JOSÉ" (Harris fig.114) sent to Guanacaste and 1852 printed document from the General Administration of the Post Office showing fine 'ADMINISTRN./GRAL DE CORREOS/D COSTA RICA' handstamp in black.
