1894/1948: Excellent assembly of various issues, including Die Proofs, Plate Proofs, imperf. proof blocks of four, overprint varieties, advertising underprints in blocks of twelve, Official overprints; noted Roosevelt 1948 5 c. regular and 14 c. airmail (bestowing decorations) die proofs in black of the master frame and two frames with value and one of the vignette; also 1941 University Centenary airmail sunken die proofs (x2) for vignette only in black; 1935 Central American Games 30 c. airmail (runner) composite sunken die proof pair in brown, comes with ten vertical pairs (all values) with 'CHICAGO' perfin across both stamps (Specimens) and others, a scarce group.
