1863/72: 2 d. pale blue and scarce 6 d. dull violet, used on 1864 entire letter from Black River to La Flèche, France endorsed "Overland Mail", tied by circular "5" numeral handstamps in black. Reverse with BLACK RIVER reversed code C cds (Aug 5) in black and Mauritius cds in blue of the same day. Circular "Poss. Ang. V. Suez / Marseille" entry marking in red on obverse and reverse with 'Paris a Brest' cds, Paris cds (Sept 5) and La Flèche arrival. A scarce and most attractive entire.
