1880: 2 d. rose, used in combination with 1881 3 d. rose, plate 20, tied to cover from London to Bordeaux, France, dated 11 June 1881, cancelled by London '18' duplex cancel in black, with faint Calais transit double circle in red alongside. To the reverse a partial arrival cds in black. There is a light horizontal filing crease well clear of the adhesives. A fine and scarce cover. One of twelve recorded examples.
