British Occupation 1915: 5 pf. green, postal card, overprinted "C.E.F" and surcharged "½d" in black, watermark DR 1. in diamonds, used sent to France, dated 3 September 1915, carried by the ship "AFRIQUE" with the straight line mark in black and cancelled by the ship's datestamp "MATADI A BORDEAUX / L.L.No 1". A fine example (P1). Very scarce; one of two recorded examples.
