Auction 333-341 Nigeria, Cameroon, Sudan & Worldwide Postal History - Day 4

1893 (Nov 13): Large Official document buff envelope with blue surrounds three square chops in red, franked by 1886/95 Official (-) black on white wove paper, worn impression, with red control chop just showing at top left and left side retained by sender. The adhesive affected by vertical crease but the large envelope (167 x 328 mm.) with some edge wear is centrally folded away from the adhesive for easier exhibit display. Extremely rare.
