Niger 1921/22: First Provisional Airmail Flight: 25 c. green & black, a single example used on 1925 imprinted Colonie du Niger cover to Zinder, annotated "Par Avion Belge Princess Marie José" tied by "NIAMEY / TERRITOIRE DU NIGER" cds (March 1) in black, with information strike below. "ZINDER / TERRITOIRE DU NIGER" arrival cds at left (March 2). A magnificent example of this exceedingly rare flight - the mail was picked up by the Belgian Handley Page biplane on its way from Brussels to Leopoldville and flew a tiny amount of mail from Niamey to Zinder, a distance of some 450 miles Muller #1 = 17'500 points.
