British Protectorate 1814-1864 1832: Entire letter from Zante addressed to Commandant of the French Troops in the Morée, Modon (Methoni), and endorsed by sender in Zante at lower left; struck on reverse with hooded "ZANTE" datestamp (March 12) and circular "ISOLA DI ZANTE" handstamp in black with rate inserted. Seal removed but a rare "Armée de Morée" period entire.
