British Protectorate 1815-1864 1832 (Aug 2): Incoming entire letter from Janina (Ottoman Albania) via Skala Saida to Corfu, with oval negative seal handstamp and large circular Star and Crescent SKALA SAIDA handstamp at left in black. Disinfected by two vertical slits, with manuscript "3" (pence) Ionian rate in red ink, reverse with fair only hooded CORFU arrival in black (Aug 24). Unusual and rare entire.
