Registered air mail cover mailed from Jerusalem to Chicago USA March 20 1948 with U.S transit & arrival postmarks on back March 24/25 1948.Cover franked total of 145mils. Rate translate to 65mil for basic letter rate, 15mil for registration & additional 65mil for overweight. Hand written notation at top left  showing a contents of two medals with value of 250mils. The routing for this cover was by air to England, then air to New York and Chicago. The Handstamp " Recommandee" signifies a registered letter. VF.
