16/JA/1868 Salta - Buenos Aires: Entire letter franked with 5c. (GJ.38) with rococo cancel of SALTA completely worn out, excellent quality. The text is very long, about the beginning of the "PLAGE" (yellow fever) that ravaged Buenos Aires and Córdoba, and the fear that it would extend to Salta due to the little precautions by the police to avoid contagion.
