Auction # 2428 ARGENTINA: Special August auction

LONG JOURNEY: Airmail cover sent from Buenos Aires on 16/JUL/1949 to reach a passenger aboard the steamship Andesen during her stop in Lisboa. It did not arrive on time and thus the cover was forwarded to Southampton, Cherbourg, eventually arriving in Basel on 8/AU, very attractive!!
