1 cross yellowish green with franking mark "EMMENDINGEN 21.JUN.(72)" on complete, underfranked printed matter folding cover with adjacent boxed due marking "Insufficiently franked" and overwritten cancellation of the postage due marking "6" instead of "3" (Decimen) to be collected by the addressee and blue pencil marking "30" (Centesimi) of the share to be paid to Austria to Venice with arrival postmark and on face with Italian postage due marking 60 Centesimi with cancellation "VENZEZIA ARRIVA 23.JUN.23.". The printed matter was treated as an insufficiently franked letter, the affixed 1 cross stamp was credited with 3 centesimi (blue note "3 cts" next to the stamp), the remaining 57 centesimi were rounded upward to 60 centesimi and franked with the postage stamp. The stamps (postage stamp) are fresh colours and somewhat irregularly perforated, some shorter teeth on the 1 cross stamp, otherwise in perfect condition.
