3 kreuzer carmine in vertical pair and single stamp each with franking mark "PFORZHEIM 10.MRZ.(72)" on complete folded cover with red handstamp "P.D." and French transit postmark to Paris in perfect condition. Except for a few short perf, all stamps (postage stamp) are fresh colours, well embossed and perforated as usual. Scarce and attractive 9 Kreuzer franking for a letter up to 7.5 g according to the old postal treaty between Baden and France valid for only a few months until 14 May 1872 with 3 Kreuzer Baden postage for a letter up to 15 g and 6 Kreuzer French postage (red chalk tax "6") for a letter up to 7.5 g, only a few covers known, certificate Sommer BPP (2002) and certificate Dr Zill BPP (2024).
