3 Kreuzer carmine, two single stamps, each with franking mark "FRANKFURT A.M. N3 22.7.74" on R local cover with arrival postmark. The left stamp with small sheet margin at top and missing 1st perforation at top and bottom (FZLou1) well perforated, the right stamp with perforation damaged due to edge gluing, otherwise in good overall condition. Scarce 6 Kreuzer postage in the special rate valid until 31 December 1874 for registered local covers from Frankfurt, only very few letters of this type are known to date
