Heinrich Köhler Auction 376 - Day 1

1870, Bordeaux Issue 40c. orange, block of four with fresh colour and three wide margins, close at top right, from positions 11-12 and 1-2, the lower right stamp from position 2 showing variety "4 large - pseudo retouched", the two upper stamps unused, the lower mint never hinged, a very attractive and rare multiple, signed J.F. Brun with certificate (2014) (Maury Nr. 48IIo - 15.000€ for the pair with normal stamp)
