1882 £400 rose, 6mm NZ & star wmk (horiz mesh), p11¾. Newly discovered top value, unlisted in Kiwi catalogue. Neat partial fiscal cds cancel (?) (?) 87, with also embossing & 2 foil slits at sides. This is the earliest printing of a £400 denomination (previously not known till the 1888 p12½ printing). The recently recorded £200 value (Kiwi R498B) is cat $1500 punched. To be listed as R500B.
