1861 map by Keith Johnston. Palestine or the Holy Land. Size 325 x 420mm. Lithographic map with hand colored outlines and printed blue for water. Palestine under Turkish rule, showing the only road from Beirut to Damascus by Zahle, the others are mule paths. Published in Keith Johnston's The Royal Atlas of Modern Geography, 1861. Good condition, reinforced at center seam, minor discoloration at outer edges. Estimate $75-150
