1916, GERMAN MILITARY POST RARITY - A.O.K.4  May 22 1916 p/m on religious Jerusalem color view postcard maild to Austria. This is new earliest date for usage in Jerusalem in conjunction with thew Blue expedition military cachrt. Message written on May 19 1916..Reciver hand notation at bottom dated June 16 1916. According to the Steichele catalogue this postmark was in use up to May 30th in Beer Sheba & from June 1 1916 was used in Jerusalem, however 3 other cards known to be mailed from Jerusalem between May 20th to May 30th tied by the A.O.K. 4 p/m but both lack the Expedition military cachet.
