1857/1947: "The Postal Stationery of British India": Collection of about 400 postal stationery cards, double cards, letter sheets, envelopes, registered envelopes, Officials, Air and others, mint and/or used, housed in three older albums, with some scarce items like 1918 postal card ¼a. with 'INDIA' less curved etc. (H&G 22) or late KGV. registered envelope 3a.+1a.3p. with "THREE PIES" optd. by a black bar (used in 1940), find varieties (f.e., KGV. env. 'albino' optd. "ONE/ANNA"), a lot of cards with printings on back, registered/insured/air/censored mail, a wide range of postmarks, missent and redirected mail, postage due, also most attractive upratings, some scarce destinations like German East Africa, German South West Africa, Hongkong, Batavia, Malaya, European countries etc., plus several Military incl. 1946 envelopes (mint) or a 1943-45 Airgraph form 8a., and many unusual items more.
