1848-1910's: Collection of about 50 covers, postcards, postal stationery items and picture postcards from the various states, with an early 1848 ship letter from London to Hobart Town, Van Diemen's Land forwarded by Marshall & Edridge, find franked covers, early postal stationery cards and envelopes and lovely picture postcards with a good range of postmarks, frankings and destinations Ceylon, Indo-China, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia (1897 p/s card from Queensland), Italy, Germany, Great Britain, France, Netherlands or Sweden. In addition three similar items from New Zealand incl. p/s card to the U.S.A. in 1893.
