1906, 23 July, USA, Railway accident, ppc from Brussels 7.7.06 to Seattle, Wash., with straight line "Damaged in wreck near CAMDEN, WASH. JULY 23", arrival marks of Seattle 30.7. and redirected to Bellingham 30.7. The Havre & Spokane train no. 3 had crossed the Rockies, and when emerging from a tunnel near Camden between Newport and Spokane, it derailed and plunged over an embankmant into Diamond Lake. Mail clerk C.A.Danner drowned as the mail car sank into 20 feet of water.
