Germany, 1900: Field postcard sent postage free within the operation area of the German Expedition Forces in China during Boxer Upraise. Originally despatched from PEKING DEUTSCHE POST Dec 3, 1900 (note: date in post mark corrected in hand writing from "2" to "12") to Pao-ting-fu, then forwarded through K.D.FELDPOSTEXPEDTION DES OSTASIATISCHEN EXPEDITIONSCORPS on Dec 06 to Inf.Rgt. No. 7 but UNDELIVERED and returned by D.D.FELD-POSTSTATION No. 7 on Dec 11 to Beijing. Thus all three different types of German postmarks in China on one single piece of Postal History. Very exceptional card in perfect state of condition. Also note handwritten message quoting excessive looting and eye-witnessing the beheading of 6 Chinese looters.
