1905 Harar provisional "5 c/m" on bisected ½g. red tied by "HARAR 12...05" cds to picture postcard to Chateau du Loir, Sarthe, France via French Somali Coast were it was franked by 5c. tied by '27...05' cds, and with '13 DEC 05' arrival stamp alongside, fine and scarce.
printed 'Direction des Postes et Télégraphes Ethiopiens' cover to Budapest, Hungary, uprated French Somali Coast 10c. and 15c. tied by '7 JUIL 06' cds, with complete paper seal and arrival cds on the reverse. The cover with a brownish patch at top left otherwise fine. A rare usage of the Harar provisional in combination with French Somali Coast, and a scarce destination. (Ref. Harmers sale April 2013)
