1881: Proof / Testing Impressions for the 1 d. pink envelope, Die II examples on three pieces with four examples on one, three overlapping examples on the second piece and the remarkable piece with eight impressions all struck on lined paper. A very rare group, the last item illustrated in "Specimen Stamps & Stationery of Great Britain" by Marcus Samuel & Alan Huggins (fig. 147, page 244). Rare and spectacular.
