1842: 1 d. pink postal stationery cut-out used on cover to Sheffield (Wheat correspondence), cancelled by blurred Leeds Maltese Cross with two line "HUNSLET / LEEDS" handstamp at left, reverse with "Leeds" double arc despatch cds "MY 28 / 1842" in black and Sheffield arrival. This is one of the earliest recorded cut-out cover - predating the Bruce Auckland cover of June 29, 1842 (Grosvenor, 19-20 Nov 2007, lot 428) by over a month and thus one of the earliest 'cut-out' usage in World Philately.
