Corinphila Auction 291-297 Day 2

1902 (Oct 18): OHMS 1 d. pink postal stationery large envelope (302 x 106 mm.) used from Hertford to Luton, up-rated with 1902 I.R. Official 1 d. scarlet in a vertcal strip of three tied by Hertford handstamps in black. A rare usage the 4 d. franking would pay for a letter / parcel of up to 2 lbs. Whilst a large cover with consequent slight imperfections, this is possibly a unique combination usage.
