1912: De La Rue Die Proofs (10) all Frame only and printed in black on glazed white cards, affixed to four pieces ex the DLR Day Book, with ½ d. and 1 d. piece dated "June 19" at top and crossed through as completed in red manuscript "Sept 9, 1912"; second piece with Proofs of the 2 d., 2½ d., 8 d., 1 s. and 2 s.; dated at top between "July 10-11-12" again crossed through in red ink and also dated "Sept 9th 1912"; third piece with 1½ d. and 3 d. crossed through in red dated "April 23, 1913" and single 3 s. Proof on piece crossed on the same date. A fine and unique group.
