1856: The First Issue cover/entires selection (19) and a front with 1 r. yellow single franking cancelled by rare oval "Hostotipaquillo" oval, 2 r. green single frankings from Colima (2), Mazatlan Franco on a cover front (in red), Pinos, San Juan de Rio (in red), San Luis Potosi, Tepic (in red); 2 r. green vertically bisected on 1858 entire ex San Juan del Rio tied in red; 3 real rate covers with 1 r. and 2 r. from San Luis Potosi and Tepic (in red); 4 r. carmine single frankings on covers from Durango (cert. Holcombe), Mexico City and from Tepic (cancelled in red); 4 r. carmine bisected usage from Leon de los Aldamas (cert. Jaretzky) similar usages from Morelia and Zacatecas; 4 r. carmine quadrisected usage from Sain Alto (signed Calves); quartered 8 r. lilac used on cover from Aguascalientes (cert Jaretzsky), and another quartered 8 r. lilac used on cover (signed Aguirre, Goebel and Perez). A scarce lot with most strikes very fine.
